Statement of Faith

We believe in one God, holy and infinitely perfect, eternally existing in a loving unity of three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error, the complete revelation of His will for salvation, and the ultimate authority in all that it teaches.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man. Jesus was conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our salvation, and is now in heaven at the right hand of God the Father.

We believe God created the first man and woman, Adam and Eve, in his image, which we also share as human beings. Adam and Eve sinned against God, and so we are also sinners by nature and by choice, alienated from God. Only through God’s saving work in Jesus Christ can we be rescued, reconciled, and renewed to love and serve God.

We are called to live a life of gratitude and service to love God and our neighbor. We live out our faith through the power of the Holy Spirit in loving God and caring for one another with compassion toward the poor and justice for the oppressed. We humbly strive to live life in the pattern of Jesus’ life in Philippians 2 with sacrificial service and energetic mission.
